Radiesse® injectable implant has received a CE mark for plastic and reconstructive surgery, including deep dermal and sub-dermal soft tissue augmentation of the facial area, and is also intended for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) in people with human immunodeficiency virus.

Radiesse® is FDA-approved for the long-lasting correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, and it is also intended for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) in people with human immunodeficiency virus.

Radiesse® injectable implant further holds FDA approval for hand augmentation to correct volume loss in the dorsum of the hands.

Radiesse® should not be used to treat superficial lines and wrinkles in the perioral and perorbital area. Radiesse® is contraindicated for the correction of forehead wrinkles or the glabella and not recommended in the lips and the nose.
