Many people know the feeling – you no longer like a tattoo you got years ago and wish nothing more for it to disappear forever. Fortunately, there are good options for tattoo removal. Laser treatment is one of the most common methods.
How does laser treatment work?
In laser treatment, a laser beam is focused on the tattoo. This creates heat in the colour pigments. The colour particles are destroyed and split into their component parts. The resulting particles are extremely fine and can be now absorbed by the body and ultimately broken down.
A particular laser is required for each colour in the tattoo. Therefore, multiple sessions are usually required to remove a tattoo completely. This makes removal a lengthy process, requiring at least 4 – 6 weeks between sessions to allow the skin to recuperate.
Nowadays, laser treatment is relatively gentle thanks to modern technology. Nevertheless, the skin is injured and scars may form in the treated area without proper care.
Contractubex® for permanently beautiful skin
The active ingredients of Contractubex® ensure that scars can be prevented and visibly reduced after the removal of tattoos.
A clinical study has shown that if Contractubex® is applied between the necessary laser treatments, scar formation can be reduced by more than 50%.* Therefore, Contractubex® should accompany laser treatment from the beginning and be applied between each session. For best results, Contractubex® can be applied as soon as the acute irritation subsides after a treatment.
Results can be seen after only five laser treatments in combination with Contractubex®. The gel is perfectly suitable for the prevention of scars following tattoo removal. It is effective, safe and easy to use.
